WELCOME to The Drawing Board! This is the 7th episode in my series of art videos. This one is a little different in that I will show you a little trick to transfer an image using acetone. This may be helpful if you have trouble replicating a drawing. By using this method, this will let you to quickly lay down the initial sketch which you can then color in or paint over.

This episode: Two point perspectives. We will talk about how to draw perspectives when you look at the corner of something with two vanishing point, typically outside of your field of view. I will use a photo of The Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile in Paris, France for this example.
If you haven’t done one point perspectives, I’d urge you to follow along with my previous video first: Episode 5 – One Point Perspectives: https://youtu.be/WzK-hMGPjPs
Please comment below if you have request on things you’d like to see me paint.
This episode: Perspectives. The most common are one point and two point perspectives. Occasionally, you’ll see three points. You can actually have as many points as you want. In this particular video I will focus on recreating the one point perspective of a photograph of the Santa Catalina arch from Antigua, Guatemala.

I recorded these portrait paintings of my mother & niece and my father & nephew . These were mother’s day and father’s day gifts. The reference picture of the kids were both around two years old at the time of the painting.
